Hanging Out with Frida - Again

Ethical Fashion Bloggers issued a challenge to Frida yourself, so I'm re-posting something I put together for Style Imitating Art way back when.  (cheater, cheater!)  Interesting how things you like all overlap, isn't it?

  2. Oooo, you are too clever, using that bird as a plane. You have everything in there - the "plane," the books, the curtains, the clock, and let's not forget your own fabulous self!! You do a knock-out Frida. Gorgeous, Pao.

    1. That was a lot of prep work...at the time. But this time...it was just a click away from the clothes collage page to here. Fancy that. I love recycling!

  3. Oh, not cheating that you already happened to have done it - I say bonus. Beautiful job too, as Melanie said. I love your attention to the shape and texture of your garments as well. Viva la Frida!

    1. I like your attitude, Amber. I'm still feeling a bit guilty from signing up for the Fall Challenge and then failing to show up. And now I'm re-posting for another challenge. tsk, tsk. But hey, let's not get too serious here, right?! Right.

  4. Is it a bird, is it a plane? No, it's just the awesome Pao rising and whopping the ass of another challenge! Is there anything you can't do? You nailed it again. xxx

  6. I think the really important thing here isn't about what's been posted before, but about how you inspire the lot of us that didn't catch it the first time!

Frida Kahlo is a favorite artist of mine, and after the film years ago, even more! And you've certainly done her honor with this great self portrait!
